A Message From Our New Principal, Sara Kamar

Through the blessings of Allah and his Ahlul Bayt, Lady Fatima Academy continues its success by welcoming me, Ms. Sara Kamar, as its school principal. I humbly and warmly begin this new role by thanking parents, staff, students, board members, volunteers and donors for their support and generosity. My commitment is to maintain a community focused school environment where students and staff, who are the heart of the school, are safe, respected and supported in their spiritual, academic, and professional growth.

Excellence is our achievement goal for both religious and academic studies and we aim to provide the best possible differentiated, inclusive learning opportunities to all students based on their interests and learning styles. Students, as leaders of tomorrow, are challenged to reach their highest level of potential through peer, teacher, principal, and parental support. Teachers are well supported and mentored in alignment with Alberta’s Teacher Quality Standard and LFA’s own professional standards. Learning opportunities include: First Nations, Métis, and Inuit (FNMI) integration, interdisciplinary learning, inquiry-based learning, project-based learning, hands-on experiences, participation in both intra-school and inter-school competitions, and much more. Together, we’ll make this the best year yet at LFA, InShaAllah!
