What grades do you teach?
2023-2024:
Kindergarten to Grade 4
2024-2025:
Junior Kindergarten to Grade 9
2025-2026:
Grade 10
How much are the fees?
Fees $220 a month
Subsidies are available for low income families and those who want to enroll more than one child.
Do you have a bus service?
Bussing service available to all quadrants of Calgary for $100 a month.
Are your teachers qualified?
Our teachers from our Shia community in Calgary are certified and approved by Alberta Education.
About Us
Lady Fatima Academy follows Alberta Education’s program. Lady Fatima Academy works closely with the government to fulfill the requirements for the high academic standards that our children deserve by bringing certified Shia teachers approved by Alberta Education to teach our children. Lady Fatima Academy has been authorized to maintain Shia Muslim values across the curriculum.
At Lady Fatima Academy, we provide a well rounded education in Islam based on the knowledge of Prophet Muhammed (SAW), and the twelve Imams of the AhlulBayt (AS). We cover the Tennents of Belief (عقائد), Jurisprudence (فقه), Islamic History (سيرة), and Quran reading and meaning.
At Lady Fatima Academy, we believe that to truly become a follower of Prophet Muhammed (SAW) and his AhlulBayt (AS), one must act with justice and integrity of our divinely appointed role models at all times. Through daily religious assembly, and daily prayer and our Friday Islamic activities, we learn how to embody morality in our lives from the characteristics of Prophet (SAW) and his family (AS).
At Lady Fatima Academy, we know that a school needs to be a place of enjoyment, stimulation, comfort and safety to be a conducive learning environment. Our teachers and staff do their best to make sure students love being at Lady Fatima Academy through fun activities, stimulating lessons and the promotion of Islamic values and behaviour.
